Hosted Policy
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Blackvoid collects, how it is used, and when it may be shared as part of the hosted product.
Effective July 13, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Blackvoid collects, uses, and shares information when you use blackvoid.ai, app.blackvoid.ai, related hosted applications, and associated APIs and workspace features.
By using Blackvoid, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you use Blackvoid.
- Account and identity data, such as your name, email address, and authentication details when you sign in with Google or another supported provider.
- Workspace content, including uploaded files, images, documents, prompts, notes, canvases, object metadata, comments, and other materials you choose to store or process in Blackvoid.
- Usage and device data, such as log data, browser type, approximate device information, and events needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
- Session and preference data, such as cookies or local settings used to keep you signed in and remember product preferences.
3. How We Use Information
We use collected information to operate and improve Blackvoid.
- Provide the service, authenticate users, and maintain workspaces.
- Process uploads, generate previews, and support AI-powered workflows you request.
- Protect the service, investigate abuse, and enforce product policies.
- Improve reliability, performance, product features, and user support.
- Communicate with you about account, product, or security matters.
4. AI And Service Providers
Some Blackvoid features rely on third-party providers for hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, or AI generation and inference.
When you use those features, we may send the content and metadata reasonably necessary to complete the request, operate the feature, or secure the platform.
5. ChatGPT And Connected AI Applications
When you connect ChatGPT or another MCP-compatible client, Blackvoid records the authorization connection, approved scopes, token status, and activity needed to authenticate, secure, and audit the integration.
A connected client can request only Blackvoid resources permitted by both its approved scopes and your current workspace access. When you ask the client to use Blackvoid, the requested canvas or object information is returned to that client and may then be processed under the client's own terms and privacy policy.
The current ChatGPT integration is read-only. It can list, search, and retrieve permitted Blackvoid workspace content, but it cannot create, edit, publish, or delete Blackvoid content.
- Review the requested scopes before approving a connection.
- Disconnect Blackvoid from the connected client or revoke the Blackvoid connection to stop future access.
- Contact Blackvoid support if you need help locating or revoking a connection.
6. When We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited situations:
- With vendors and service providers that help us run Blackvoid, subject to appropriate contractual or operational controls.
- With people you intentionally share with, including through public or shared links you create in the product.
- If required to comply with law, legal process, or valid governmental request.
- To protect the rights, safety, and security of Blackvoid, our users, or the public.
- As part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable legal requirements.
7. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data, your workspace state, and whether deletion is required for operational or legal reasons.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information handled by Blackvoid. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Choices
Depending on how you use Blackvoid, you may be able to access, update, delete, or share certain information directly in the product.
- You can control what content you upload and what links or workspace materials you choose to share.
- You can revoke connected AI applications to prevent future access through that connection.
- You can sign out or stop using the service at any time.
- Browser controls may let you limit cookies or related storage, although doing so may affect product functionality.
10. Children's Privacy
Blackvoid is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the service.
11. Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and revise the effective date above.
